Dr. Brian Lee is dual ABIM board certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine and has been in practice since 2008. Dr. Lee enjoys the private practice of nephrology because of the opportunity to develop long-term, health-promoting relationships with his patients over the years.

Dr. Lee received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Tufts Medical School in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Olive View-UCLA in 2005, and his Nephrology fellowship at top-ranked UCLA in 2008. He has published in multiple journals including “Transplantation Proceedings” and “Journal of Kidney Diseases and Transplantation”.
Dr. Lee’s goal is to deliver the most innovative and world-class care for all his patients. With his current positions as Medical Consultant and Speaker for Satellite Healthcare, Vifor Pharma, Horizon Therapeutics, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Outset Medical, he continuously stays updated on the most cutting-edge therapies and enjoys spreading exciting breakthroughs with his colleagues and medical community.
Dr. Lee holds multiple leadership roles where he implements his patient-first philosophy to the communities where he serves. He was the Nephrology Advisor at Kindred Hospital La Mirada from 2012-2013, Medical Executive Committee Member at St Francis from 2016-2017, and Consultant Medical Director for Molina Healthcare from 2019-2021. He currently serves as Medical Director of Satellite Dialysis Center of South Gate, Satellite Medical Policy Committee Board-member, as well as Satellite Physician Home Champion. He also currently serves as the St Francis Medical Center Nephrology Medical Director.
He was recently awarded the Satellite Clinical Excellence and Leadership Award. Dr. Lee is also an active member of the prestigious American Society of Nephrology. One of his passions and special interests is Kidney Preservation- he strives to improve kidney function when possible, or slow progression of kidney disease when reversal is not possible. Another one of his main focuses is Home Dialysis- he wants his dialysis patients to have the best quality of life possible, and many of his patients find this option allows them to live their best life yet!
Dr Lee is very committed to excellent patient care and aims to treat each and every one of his patients like family. He strongly believes in building lasting relationships with patients, taking time to explain and answer questions, and treating each patient with kindness and respect.

Dr. Lui's special areas of interest include hypertension, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, proteinuria, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, cysts, and kidney stones. Dr. Lui is an avid traveler and sports fan. He enjoys developing meaningful relationships with his patients and discussing surfing, soccer, football, and basketball with them.
Dr. Lui graduated with honors from Harvard University and has published in scientific journals. He received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at USC in 2005, and his Nephrology fellowship at UC Davis in 2007. Dr. Lui currently serves in a leadership capacity on the Medical Executive Committee at St. Francis Medical Center and is Vice-Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lui is also the 2013-2014 Medical Director of the Satellite Dialysis Center of South Gate, CA.
Dr. Lui is an active member of the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Lui continues to conduct research and is an investigator in current clinical trials involving novel medications for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.

Dr. Hong is currently the 2015-2016 Division Chair of Nephrology at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, CA. He is also serving as a Medical Director of Satellite Dialysis Center of South Gate, CA.

Dr. Hong completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2003 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and completed his Nephrology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Hong received his Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in 2000 through the Honors Program in Medical Education.
